I believe we are all here to learn from, connect with, and support one another.
It’s difficult to love others if we can’t fully experience love, compassion, and acceptance ourselves. Accepting oneself unlocks the ability to love more freely, resulting in grace, understanding, and patience toward others. I believe my work as a therapist connects to the bigger picture of all humans living in peace with one another and themselves. We can change the world if we start with ourselves.
I’m here to walk alongside you through hard things, helping you find strength and kindness within yourself. In our work together, we embrace the emotions that arise in the present moment, while also exploring how the body is key to the healing process. For me, it’s all about honoring where you are but gently moving towards where you want to be.
Before becoming a therapist I worked as a barista, a painter, an Airbnb host, and a spiritual director. My journey towards this field began with an undergrad in counseling in 2011 that led to a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I also have training in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT). You can see more about my therapeutic lens here
